Man I wish I had of taken my measurements. But oh well... LOL IT is amazing you have had such great results. Way to go... Sending you a high five or like on planet 51 a high 4... LOL
I definitely lost weight in my feet. I still wear a 9 but in an AA width and even those just about flop off my feet. I started at 266, size 24 and am now 143, size 6 and able to wear 4's in some brands of slacks/jeans, but 6 in most. Isn't it exciting?!
So very cool! I always wonder if I'm taking my measurements in the right place so that's helpful to know. I always figure that as long as I take 'em in the same place, then they are meaningful results...
Oh it's so sad - I'm mourning the loss of my knee-high boots and you're mourning your shoe collection. NO ONE ever tells you your feet will get smaller. Who knew? And yes - very good to take measurements...especially when you are toning and weight isn't coming off but inches are!
Feet shrinkage is both a kick (s'cuse the pun!) and a pain in the ass. I agree - you get all these gorgeous shoes that then flop around like nobodies business. Happened to me too. Ack! Good excuse to go out and buy more - but it's still hard to let go of the old ones, even if they are in danger of breaking an ankle lol. Hey, nice work on the measurements. Wow.. that is some inches lost. Wonderful!!
Band Groupie you are the best!!! I am in a size 6 1/2 shoe down from a seven. My feet are swimming in my sneakers, need new ones of those next. I just bought new dressy black shoes and a new dress to wear to a wedding the summer.
So happy to hear your wt loss is doing so well. I am sure I will slow down now for sure. Being too tight was just not that much fun. Kept all down today and feeling much better almost instant relief. Did my happy dance thanks to you and I've got a big smile on too. Thanks for all the support. Thinking of you Best wishes imaluckydog
Ooops I forgot to point out for the newbies...I did add it up and I'd only lost 11.875 at my half-way WL...I know, it doesn't make sense, seems like you should lose 1/2 the total amount of inches if you've lost 1/2 the excess weight...just hang in there the inches will come!!!
I know what you mean about it taking you a while at first to get down in size. I lost 50lbs before I needed new clothes, pretty sure it's because I was wearing my clothes way too tight. LOL!! And yes I know for sure that clothes are sized different now!! Back when I was in tens before I weighed about 25lbs less than i do now. Old Navy is the worst about that, they are very generouse in sizes!!! I can't wait till I get in the 150's like you!!!
I actually have a pair of shoes in waiting for that exact thing! I went to my friends house and she had new Airwalks. We were going out so I tried them on and they killed my feet cause they werent wide enough. So she gave me that brand new pair of shoes and told me they were "goal shoes" She has told me 2 times now to retry them and I wont do it because Im scared they still wont fit and Ill just have to wait longer anyways lol But I know they are there...
I'm a wife, mother of three, and eternal optimist. I've been skinny and obese and all the places in between (too many times). Getting the Lap Band is the best thing I've ever done for myself. I love to laugh and I share everything (in this Lap Band Blog ). Have you heard? I'm on a new journey to pay-it-forward and with the encouragement and support of my Lap Band Groupies.........
I'M WRITING A Lap Band BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Join Me!
