*Portion of Post Deleted for Lap Band Book
OH, and can I just say...WHAT THE HECK WOMEN??!!! I tried on about 4 outfits before finding one that fit OK this morning...yes, I'm having fat days again. I wore a new top, no coat over it. Do you know how many women I passed today...in the parking lot, in the ladies room, in the stairwell, in the waiting room (where I was called to the window three times), three different nurses during my appointment. I was wondering why I was getting stares and was starting to take it personally that I look like a stuffed sausage in these jeans.
COULD ANY OF YOU HAVE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TWO LOVELY *SHINY* TAGS WITH THE SALE STICKER HANGING ON MY BACK?!!! *sigh* ...and I'm guessing some of you were fellow banders...*double-sigh*

I sure hope you get the elusive sweet spot back. It sure is always changing but I like to think of that constant change as the constant reminder to stay on my toes. And I'm still learning...and now changing it all, anyway. No restriction for me for the next nine months...
Wow---pretty amazing how your band keeps changing. It doesn't seem like you can judge it from your past. I hope you never have to go through reflux again. I don't think I ever have had it and I think i'm at my sweet spot. My cousin has had it severely--NO FUN!
PS --I would of told you about the tags-XO
Hope you find that sweet spot again soon! I would definitely have told you about the tags - I'm also a tag-tucker (you know, when the tag is hanging out - I do ask first and only if I know you!!).
Yeah, unfortunately logic doesn't apply :( I really wish it did!
Maybe you'll get some of that mysterious delayed restriction after a few days! That usually happens to me.
Love that top!
Good luck with this fill! LOL at the tag, too funny!
OMG....I would have SOOOO told you. The other night at a very trendy restaurant, a great looking young couple bolted in as if they were late. She had the most adorable body hugging dress on...her hair was a bit wet and tossled. The guy was just as cute and as harried and tussled. They were giggling and laughing....it was so cute. I imagined they were late due to a quickie (if you know what I mean). Then, a few minutes later, when the guy went to check on something, I noticed that the girl's dress was partially unzipped (at the top). So, I casually went over and told her and offered to help. She was so appreciative...saying...."thank YOU! I am here to meet his parents! This would not be good!" Made me smile!!
As for you rationale on how wonderful the Lapband is with regard to getting it just right--I could not agree more! I've been having a rough time with chocolate (OF ALL THINGS) lately.....I gotta stop that behavior!
Hope the sweet spot is back!!
Onward!
Judi
Oh BG...please know I am laughing with you, not at you! Why wouldn't anyone have said anything?
BTW you look GREAT! You don't look like a stuffed sausage in those jeans. I know you'll be back where you want to be in no time! Thank you for sharing your situation. I'm fighting with reflux right now too and this information is really helpful.
Thanks for sharing this experience with us newbies. It is great to hear what goes on and what could be expected months down the track.
You look simply fantastic in that outfit and I sure as heck would have told you about your tags hanging out. I can't believe no one did.
What a conundrum with your fill! Honestly, I've just resigned myself to the acid reflux. I've been taking Nexxium every-other-day since surgery nearly 2 years ago. It's just a part of life with the band (I figure). I hope that this fill is the one that works for you. Sorry to hear about the weight gain. Are you just eating more, or are you making poor food choices? Just curious.
You look amazing!! I hope you find the sweet spot on your fill. Not sure if I ever have but I've gained also.
thanks for posting reality!!
