Thank you so much for this post. Just what I needed today- I've been the same weight for two whole months! yuk. I have a hard time not getting discouraged, up to December I was losing 8-10lbs a month.
As always, so eloquent with words. And such a great message! Sometimes it is hard to think of a plateau as something to just accept...but sometimes it's just what needs to happen.
What I great post and couldn't come at better timing for me! Been at a dang plateau and bouncing around the same 3 pounds for just about a month. But, you know what? Now that I think about it, I have changed a lot in this past month. Before I would have gotten SO discouraged and just given up. Now, I continue to plug along (with the occasional off day) on doing what I should be doing with the known fact that things will move along again someday!
I have been living on a Plateau for so long now. It's Ok I am just planning on not being there for too long. I am enjoying every moment of my life to the fullest and being as Happy as I can be with my second chance. I love winter and skiing has been a blast. Love imaluckydog
Good post, thanks BG. loving that you are on blogger...and let's see we're at 65 followers now, I bet I can recruit 10 more before the end of the week! :)
Great Blog! So needed to read it, just wish winter was over. I know, I shoudlnt complain I live in Florida BUT this winter has even been hard here! I think I am number 66, not many more to go!!!! Love ya Girl!!!
I am right there, flat on that plateau for over a month as well. I was wondering if I should go get a small fill or something...but after reading everyone's comments it reminds me that this is common. So, I will hang in there and enjoy our mild winter in Calif. There is no complaining when it comes to weather here.
